  • Improved the user interface for selecting users in the create Group and edit User list window, making it easier to see which users are selected

ONTIME DESKTOP
  • Fixed discrepancies in how private events are opened in panel and expanded modes.
  • Addressed minor UI issues regarding incorrect information display for all-day event invitations.
  • Resolved inconsistencies in opening invitations/notices from the notice panel and viewer.
  • Corrected issues with event loading in the weekly planner for groups with only one member.
  • Fixed problems with opening polls that have been deleted or archived, ensuring error messages are displayed appropriately.
  • Resolved issues with opening shared desk appointments with read access, private Time Off events disclosure, and the "Clear all" button in list view search not resetting the search time span to default value.
  • Addressed an issue where opening an item from the openitem URL would open the item as a shared desk event.
  • Fixed a problem with booking events from a poll where placeholder events are configured to use "Show As" to something other than "Free".
  • Corrected issues with conflict checks on all-day events, external users opening a deleted poll, displaying categories in detailed event viewer, and using custom help links in default settings.
  • Improved the weekly planner functionality where selecting not to see one's own calendar on top would not update the calendar info until scrolling started.
  • Reintroduced the viewstart URL parameter that was omitted by mistake in the 6.0.x series.
ONTIME POLLARITY
  • Addressed an issue with opening a deleted poll externally, where it would ask for an access code even though the poll is unavailable.
ONTIME BACKEND
  • Resolved an issue where private Time Off events revealed excessive information.
  • Addressed a problem where temporary events lacked Location and Categories immediately after creation, and an issue that could occur if a user attempted to delete an event before it was synchronized.
  • Fixed a bug with the Pollarity Reminder link.

ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT
  • Enhanced the Show Group Members feature for static groups to resolve all included directory groups.
  • The impersonation password field on domain configuration is now limited to 16 characters to align with EWS API constraints.

ONTIME DESKTOP
  • Resolved a potential error when creating a shared desk using the shared desk button.
  • Eliminated errors that appeared when searching in the list view and then toggling between group view/private view.
  • Addressed errors when declining a meeting within the OnTime interface in Teams.
  • Corrected UI inconsistencies in the repeat box related to weekday selections, ensuring accurate calculations.
  • Fixed display issues for members in a static group when added as a directory group in the admin interface.
  • Resolved sorting issues when "Sort By Type" is enabled and the search form is utilized.
  • Updated the notice panel design for better visual coherence.
  • Pollarity time zone selection now strictly follows the browser's time zone without considering the previously selected time zone.
  • Removed an unused type dropdown from the create group dialog search box.
  • Due to an EWS API limitation, the option to tentatively accept an individual event in a repeat set has been removed.
ONTIME CATERING
  • Improved the print function for catering orders to ensure correct sourcing of order and picklist.
ONTIME MS TEAMS INTEGRATION
  • Fixed an issue that occurred when using the chat now/meet now options and then returning to OnTime.
  • Resolved an error when adding a new visitor based on a Pollarity user.
  • Addressed a problem with creating a new poll from an existing one.
ONTIME BACKEND
  • Security Issue: Corrected API calls for event details to prevent over-sharing when the private flag is enabled.
  • Fixed a bug where accepting or declining a single instance in a repeat set of notices would remove the entire set from the notice panel.
  • Security Issue: Resolved an issue causing the subject to show on an invitation despite the "Hide subject on invitations until responded" Frontend setting being enabled.
  • Improved the print function for catering orders to ensure correct sourcing of order and picklist.
ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT
  • Addressed an issue where editing a static group could lead to group members disappearing after making subsequent changes if the Show Group Members option was used.

  • Corrected the sort order of users in the personal viewer after upgrading to preserve established preferences.
  • Addressed an issue where a user changing their email could encounter problems if they possessed an active token for the desktop client.
  • Resolved an error that could occur with Out of Office requests if a purged user is reintroduced  into OnTime.
  • Restored the conflict check functionality for events created without invitees.
  • Maintained user-list sort order in the personal viewer during upgrades from version 5.4.x and earlier.
  • Re-enabled manual editing of the date field in the Listview search for enhanced user control.
ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT
  • Resolved an issue causing combined rooms to not display in the admin interface after an upgrade.
  • Optimized user selection in poll searches to prioritize OnTime users when duplicate entries are found in other lists.

  • Addressed a rare error associated with opening an Archived Poll with an empty Stream.
  • Resolved an error in the approver open link when access is granted by 'All OnTime Users'.
  • Corrected the duration calculation on invitations to reflect accurate times, even when durations differ from standard selection values.
  • Fixed a bug that could lead to errors when opening an old DRAFT poll.
  • Searching for names when adding people to polls has been optimized for better user experience.
  • Enhanced the mail notification system for approvers, particularly when changing the approver for an out-of-office request.

  • User selection functionality for Pollarity feature has been refined. Following the upgrade from versions earlier than 6.0.0 all users are now added to the list of users that will see Pollarity in their interface.

ONTIME DESKTOP
  • Out Of Office Search: Users can now once again search for a list of OnTime users as approvers in the Out Of Office feature.
  • User Favorite List Startup Issue: We fixed a problem where OnTime would encounter startup issues if the user's favorite list contained null values.
  • Open Invitation Failure: Previously, open invitations with limited details restrictions could cause failures. This issue has been fixed.
  • Scheduler Data Display: When creating a new event, the scheduler was not displaying data until navigating through the days. This issue has been addressed, and the scheduler now functions as expected.
  • User Role Display: The "Show titles and location" option in limited details for User Roles was not displaying correctly in the business card. This has been rectified, providing accurate information.
ONTIME MOBILE
  • Mobile Version Correction: We have resolved an issue where an incorrect mobile module version was included in 6.0.1, 6.0.2 and 6.0.3.

  • Room Invitation Acceptance Timing: Resolved an issue where rooms were displayed as accepted prematurely when invited to a meeting.
  • Direct URL Functionality: Restored the functionality of direct URLs for accessing user profiles, groups, specific items, and creating new items. This fixes a regression issue that originated in version 6.0.0.
  • Startup Group Information Accuracy: Corrected a problem where startup group information was not displayed correctly after upgrading from version 5.4.x or earlier.
ONTIME BACKEND
  • User List Preservation in Private View: Addressed an issue where the users list in private view was lost during the upgrade to version 6.0. This fix is particularly relevant for upgrades from version 5.4.x and earlier.

  • Automated Reply Display: Corrected the Business Card display issue where Automated Reply appeared enabled but was not scheduled, even when it was actually disabled.
  • Author Permissions Regression: Addressed a bug introduced in version 6.0.0 where Author permissions were not respected and the permissions icon was missing from the Business Card.
  • Language and Region Settings: Fixed a problem where selected Language and Region settings were not correctly applied when updating to versions 6.0.0 and 6.0.1.
  • TEAMS Integration: In TEAMS, the 'This Team' button has been removed when OnTime is accessed from the rail without an established Team relationship.
ONTIME BACKEND
  • Contact Search Issue: Resolved an error that occurred when searching for a contact without a display name.

  • Resolved a defect within events generated for users designated as staff members in the catering management system.
  • Addressed the absence of a 'repeat event' option during event creation, applicable when the visitor module licence is not held by the user.
  • In instances where a user had not chosen a group within the group panel, which could lead to complications, the system now defaults to the first group listed.
  • The 'notify host' preference from the standard settings was previously disregarded; this has now been amended to function as intended.
ONTIME BACKEND
  • Rectified an error concerning the deletion of Out of Office events surpassing 365 days in age.

Improvements

ONTIME DESKTOP
  • Added new visible for feature to allow the admin to control which users will have "Pollarity" available in their user interface.
  • New global shortcut "Alt + T" will bring current date in focus.
  • Improved the filter for time zone selection. Example search for Europe, and it will provide a list of all time zones in Europe.
  • New Submenu on the gear icon in the upper right corner includes Settings, Logout and About.
  • The indicator for number of photos available in the Detail Viewer now only shows a number if more than one photo is available.
  • The legend area now has wide colour bars which makes it easier to compare with the colours in the viewer.
  • For the print function it is now possible to select display with legend colours.
  • It is now possible to use contacts from Salesforce in searches of mail addresses.
  • The event page as well as the detail hover now displays the creation date of an event.
  • Internet Explorer (IE) 11 desktop application ended support for newer operating systems on June 15, 2022. In response we have removed support for IE 11 in OnTime Group Calendar.
  1. The left navigation area has been uncluttered by a major redesign and the left navigation rail has been redesigned. Now when selecting for example groups, you have a much larger area to display and focus on your work with the groups. Additionally, we've introduced a new multi-date picker that enables you to effortlessly view your calendar several months ahead as well as a "today" button that takes you back to the current date, no matter where you are in the calendar.
  2. We have simplified and updated the overall design and made it possible to zoom in on days, making it easier to focus on today's tasks.
  3. It is now also possible to custom brand your calendar with logo and colour.

Branding makes it possible to control the background, text and border colour of the top navigation bar and further allows you to add a custom logo. You can control this for internal use which covers the Desktop client and for the external facing clients Pollarity. For the external facing client you can also add up to five links for the users from the branding area. Branding can either be controlled from "Global Frontend" at the organisational level or from each configuration of "Default Settings".

  • An advanced date picker that displays your appointments but also visually represents your availability over a longer period has been added.

  • New Pin code option for Pollarity allow the organisation or the individual user to require that a pin code is added to the individual poll. This pin code is controlled from global settings and can contain both letters and numbers. Without this pin code for the poll, external users will not be able to vote.
  • Internet Explorer (IE) 11 desktop application ended support for newer operating systems on June 15, 2022. In response we have removed support for IE 11 in OnTime Group Calendar.

  • Option to disregard working hours in poll search button. This allows globally working customers to see more available options.

  • Add setting to rooms in admin members - booking window.
  • Added warning in top panel of admin, if opened with port 8080 and not on localhost. The warning says that "Caution: Opening the admin interface on port 8080 on your desktop is not recommended. From your desktop we recommend using HTTPS using port 8443".
  • Configuration for the Room Display solution has been added.
  • General improvements to remedy vulnerability risks.

  • A priority field has been added to the default settings and sets will be evaluated in order of priority.

  • Added configuration for event sync time window to e.g., limit the window to 2 months to reduce cluttering and improve performance.
  • Added option to remove photo from the configuration for selected user.
  • Added setting to rooms in admin members - booking window, maximum duration.
  • Added improvement to present single instance room and resource bookings immediately in the interface while awaiting the actual processing by M365.
  • Added integration with Salesforce which allows OnTime to use Salesforce contacts.
  • Added support for time zones when creating an Out of Office request. Additionally, we have rewritten all messages for requesters and approvers, including more detailed information to streamline the process.
  • Apache Tomcat has been upgraded to version 10.1.15.
  • Improved the photo sync logs to remove cluttering.
  • Print function now allows users to select printing in colour.
  • To facilitate especially adoption the "EXPORT USERS" function now includes information about how many days per month the user has logged in over the previous 12 months.
  • Updated JDK to version 19.0.2.
  • Updated Teams js lib to 2.9.1

  • Removed support for upgrades from versions earlier than 2.8.

Bug Fixes

ONTIME ADMIN
  • Fixed an issue where not all users were on the list of names in the dropdown for out of license mails.
  • Fixed issues for counting subscribed calendars and actively subscribed domains.
ONTIME BACKEND
  • Fixed an issue where if a user declined an event on a room only event the event would not be removed.
  • Fixed an issue where the subscription would not automatically restart if the connection had been down for a long time.

  • Fixed an issue where rooms without video equipment were include when searching for rooms with video equipment.

  • Fixed a software regression that resulted in the Mobile UI ending up in a halt situation when clicking on Polls.

Improvements

ONTIME MOBILE
  • The new mobile prevents overload of the mobile UI groups by not allowing groups of 500 people has been disabled. Larger groups in previous versions could result in users experiencing performance issues.
ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT
  • Export users has 12 new columns. Each column represents the number of days that the user logged in to OnTime during that particular month. As this is a new function and this data has not been collected at this level before, months that has the new data will show a number and for previous month there will be a TRUE / FALSE to show if the user logged in during that month. The data will then of get more detailed every month.
  • Added option to remove photo for selected user

Bug Fixes

In addition to the specific issues mentioned below, we have fixed some minor stability issues.

ONTIME DESKTOP
  • Fixed a defect where when doing conflict checking for all day events an additional day was added to the comparison.
  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to drag all day event. After dragging it become a multi-day event.
  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to drag an entry marked as Private.
ONTIME CATERING
  •  Added more details to the Order cancel email.
ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT
  • The "Export users" action now export data for all users and not only 200 users. This was a degradation included when performance was increased in 5.4.3.
ONTIME BACKEND
  • Fixed a missing rebuild of token on get graph Id for user in Graph calls which impacted photo syncronisation.

Improvements

ONTIME BACKEND
  1. Major improvements to the Photo synchronization process to handle a number of situations and improve the logging of these.
    1. To reduce risk of throttling a pause (100ms) has been added for every get photo by email request OnTime makes to EWS.
    2. When using Graph OnTime now uses Graph id instead of by email to handle cases where there is a difference between email and upn.
    3. Improve handling of the refresh token while photo synchronisation is running.
    4. Added more logs, especially about successful synchronisation of photos.
    5. Changed get photo from two calls for different sizes of photos to one call and then resize in OnTime.
    6. To reduce the possible impact of throttling issues, a sorting strategy has been implemented where photos for persons will be synchronised before photos for rooms, resources and shared desks. When synchronising persons the ones who do not yet have  a photo will be synchronised first.
    7. Added strategy to retry to get a photo with wait time after EWS return error - Try again later. After this a pause of 500 ms has been added.
    8. Limited total time for Photo synchronisation to 4 hours.

  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to delete a repeated room only booking.

  • Now correctly saves the selection for the 'Only for Visitor Staff' checkbox when saved.
ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT
  • Fixed an issue that would not present the expected logo in the Pollarity external voting.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented saving changes made to equipment. No impact for rooms, people or shared desks.

  • Fixed an issue where when opening any instance of a repeated event would always open the first instance.

  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to save the GLOBAL SETTINGS for Frontend when Pollarity was present in the license but the service had not been started. This was particularly important customers running trial versions.

  • Fixed a minor issue in the event synchronisation code.

ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT
  • Added option to synchronise events for selected users from the Users view instead of having to run a complete synchronisation for all users. This could for example be used after a change of permissions.
  • Controlling the setting for "Notify Organizer" when working on behalf of someone else has been made much more granular. From the default settings it is now possible to select between: "Default On", "Default Off", "Always On", Always Off".
  • The number of available user licenses is now updated in the upper right corner when the when the Directory sync is done instead of having to reload the admin application.

  • Implemented support for handling Autoreply when users have different upn and mail addresses.

  • The logging for situations where users have different upn and e-mail address is now grouped in a block at the end of the logging sequence. OnTime does support this scenario, but it is not recommended.

  • Fixed an issue where the availability colour indicator in the meeting planner disappeared after selecting the week planner.
  • Fixed and issue where the e-mail address was missing on visitor contacts in search results.
  • When dragging to create a meeting the entry would show in green even if there was a collision. This was a regression introduced in 5.3.0.
ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT
  • Changed the data type for "Floor" to integer as other data types would result in an error if requested by the OnTime API for 3rd party applications.
ONTIME BACKEND
  • Fixed an edge case issue in the synchronisation process which would show up in the log as "getUpnsInSyncError".
  • Fixed an error that prevented OnTime from running user synchronisation if the SQL db was named differently from the standard suggested name. This issue fixed a regression introduced in 5.2.1.
  • Fixed an issue where the subscription would not automatically restart if the connection had been down for a long time.

  • Added new scheduler. The new scheduler helps users when they create new events and when they respond to invitations from other users.
  • Added Drag & Dop of invitees between required and optional.
  • Added calendar drill down for the chairperson of a poll to make it easier to make the final decision of time slot.
  • Added new copy event to new event with and without description from an existing event.
  • Double clicking on a username in the single user view panel now opens the business card for the user.
  • New option which allows an administrator to include a start date in a custom URL like

  • Removed the option to only synchronise basic event details. Now all available details will always be synchronised.
  • The all new "Weekly Planner" allows anyone to get a helicopter view of fellow team members most important agenda details for any given week.

  • When creating, reading or rescheduling new thumbs up / down with colour codes for required / optional invitees makes it visually clearer who at the time is available.
MS TEAMS INTEGRATION
  • Added technical improvements to the ADFS login process.
  • Upgraded the OnTime Teams app to version 1.13. This version enables the Teams app support in Outlook and Microsoft 365.
ONTIME MOBILE
  • Added option to show working hours in the calendar view.
  • The divider between multiple days has been made easier to visible in the calendar view.
  • Added MS TEAMS Chat and Call buttons to the business card.
ONTIME VISITOR
  • Searching in the view for guests will now allow searches / filters which use combination of words such as Jim from Microsoft "Jim Microsoft"
ONTIME CATERING
  • Added multi select in the delivery view to allow for printing multiple Catering Delivery List in one work process.

ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT
  •  Added action which allows the administrator to manage field values(capacity-floor-building) on multiple rooms/resources. The value will only be added if not already added from values in the Active Directory.

  • Contacts created from the Visitor module were missing in Pollarity name searches.
  • Fixed a html attachment error. It was possible to click while an upload of an attachment was still in progress.
  • Fixed an issue where display names were not correctly added to a poll if the contacts had been selected "My contacts".
  • Fixed an issue where events created on behalf of by someone else could not be edited. This could happen if the actual creator was no longer part of OnTime.
  • Fixed an issue where if start in specific group was selected, this group was not used in Teams
  • Fixed issues with the hover on private events in other people's calendars.
  • Fixed a regression error which resulted in that it was not possible to delete catering orders.
ONTIME MOBILE
  • Fixed an issue where if the approver of an Out of Office request was in a different time zone from the requester, the date would be wrong.

  • Double click on notices from the viewer now correctly brings up the new invitation response page introduced in 5.2.0.

  • The day view in the new invitation page was not showing conflicts correctly.
ONTIME ADMIN
  • Japanese texts on roles page were overlaying the Add/Remove button
  • When working with "Mark as my personal" the sensitivity setting for "Private" was not visible in the settings upon reopening
ONTIME BACKEND
  • Fixed an error that could happen when fetching Extension Attributes for users who had been removed from the AD. The error resulted in that the synchronization stopped, so members and groups were not updated

Improvements

ONTIME DESKTOP CLIENT
  • The meeting invitation response dialog has received a major overhaul and a detail viewer has been added.
  • The "My Orders" section is now also available in the single person focused view.
  • The Hover box for calendar entries now shows up to 255 chars.
  • We have improved support for working with Resources across Rooms, Combined Rooms, and Equipment in several ways.
    • For all types of Resources, OnTime will get as much information as possible from either the on-prem or the online AD.
    • If a value cannot be fetched from the on-premises or the online AD, OnTime will allow the administrator to add it in from the OnTime admin client.
    • If a value subsequently is configured in the on-premises or the online AD this value will replace the value which was manually configured.
    • For Rooms OnTime supports Room Name, Location, Building, Floor, Capacity, and features (Video, Audio, Display, wheelchair accessible and tags).
    • For Combined Rooms OnTime supports Combined Room Name, Location, Building, Floor, Capacity, and features (Video, Audio, Display, wheelchair accessible and tags).
    • For Shared Desks OnTime supports Name, Location, Building, Floor, Capacity, and features (Video, Audio, Display, wheelchair accessible and tags).
    • For Equipment OnTime supports Name, Location, Building, Floor, Capacity, and features (Video, Audio, Display, wheelchair accessible and tags)

Most values below have been synchronised with the on-prem or the online AD but the Tags and the Video Device Name can now be added manually by the OnTime admin

  • Support for setting Automated Replies
    Microsoft 365 users can set up automatic replies for when they are out-of-office or unavailable to respond to email. With the feature OnTime now introduces users can configure this on behalf of others if they have been granted the new OnTime role ""Set automated replies on". Like all other roles this is configured from the OnTime admin client.

When the automated replies option has been enabled this is visible on the Business Card as shown below.

  • Support for Skype for Business has been removed.
ONTIME POLLARITY
  • Added number of attendees to external mobile interface.
ONTIME VISITOR
  • Improved the registration process of new visitors so they are saved to the database instead of just stored temporarily during the registration process.
  • Search now supports searching by company as well as name.
  • Added option to create additional fields that will only be visible in the Visitor Manager.
  • Added selection dates to all views
  • Added settings for number of days to load initially. This is configurable per location.
ONTIME CATERING
  • A mail is now sent to the organizer of a meeting when the Canteen creates an order.
ONTIME BACKEND
  • Made log files easier to read and added more status information, the information now includes information about system being out of licenses.
  • Upgraded Tomcat to 9.0.59

  • Fixed an issue where TEAMS Chat and Meet Now buttons were not dimmed when no user had been selected.
  • Fixed an edge situation where the user would be asked to save instead of Accept/Decline when responding to an invitation.
  • If a shared group has been deleted, it is now correctly removed from shared groups without having to reload the client.
  • Shared groups are now marked as favourite groups when created.
  • Fixed an issue where Wheelchair Accessible was not respected in searches for rooms.
ONTIME POLLARITY
  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to scroll in the stream of the mobile external interface.
ONTIME BACKEND
  • For ADFS login where the OnTime token has expired, the old token is now removed before new login.
