This version patches the vulnerability mentioned below. Unlike the Log4j vulnerabilities fixed in 5.0.0, 5.0.2 and 5.0.3 upgrades which had severities of high or critical, this vulnerability has been assigned a severity of moderate severity. We still suggest that you upgrade at your earliest convenience.
Important: Security Vulnerability CVE-2021-44832
Summary: Apache Log4j2 vulnerable to RCE via JDBC Appender when attacker controls configuration.
Details
Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-beta7 through 2.17.0 (excluding security fix releases 2.3.2 and 2.12.4) are vulnerable to a remote code execution (RCE) attack where an attacker with permission to modify the logging configuration file can construct a malicious configuration using a JDBC Appender with a data source referencing a JNDI URI which can execute remote code. This issue is fixed by limiting JNDI data source names to the java protocol in Log4j2 versions 2.17.1, 2.12.4, and 2.3.2.
Removed ";" in email list, when selecting multiple and sending mail from viewer for better integration with Outlook Web Access
Fixed a situation where it was not possible to save application settings when choosing client credentials.
Log4j Vulnerability - Urgent upgrade of OnTime Strongly Recommended
Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-alpha1 through 2.16.0 did not protect from uncontrolled recursion from self-referential lookups. When the logging configuration uses a non-default Pattern Layout with a Context Lookup (for example, $${ctx:loginId}), attackers with control over Thread Context Map (MDC) input data can craft malicious input data that contains a recursive lookup, resulting in a StackOverflowError that will terminate the process. This is also known as a DOS (Denial of Service) attack.
Added new favorite marking for public and shared groups. Whenever a public or shared group has the star to the right of the name checked, the group becomes part of the users private groups.
Fixed an issue where private groups that had been deleted were visible until a reload of the browser window.
Fixed an issue where dragging entries in the single person view was not active in 5.x.
Fixed an issue where users would always start in the single person view after an upgrade of OnTime.
Fixed an issue where the Impersonation user was not saved for new domain configurations.
Log4j Vulnerability - Urgent upgrade of OnTime Strongly Recommended
It was found that the fix to address CVE-2021-44228 in Apache Log4j 2.15.0 which we released with OnTime for Microsoft version 5.0.0 / 5.0.1 was incomplete in certain non-default configurations. We are immediately responding to this new information and have upgraded Log4j to 2.16.0. in OnTime for Microsoft version 5.0.2.
"Show As" free did not display with inverted colours in the view as in previous versions.
