IMPROVEMENTS

 ONTIME DESKTOP CLIENT

  • The top navigation bar has been redesigned and uncluttered. There is now a simple dropdown to switch between days/weeks /Time Off and List. A slider now determines the number of days or weeks displayed. Also, shortcuts have been added for ease of navigation (alt+1) and so forth.
  • The settings area has been redesigned for clarity and improved useability. New options to define Start-up View/Group. Options include View or Group by name or the last selected/used View/Group.
  • It is now possible for an organisation to apply their choice of colours to the top navigation bar. This is particularly relevant if you for example integrate OnTime in a portal or something similar.
  • When only a catering order has been updated the invitees will no longer receive an update / reschedule.
  • Changing the user language for one OnTime UI for a user will now change the setting across all OnTime UI´s.
  • When working with Office 365 (Exchange online) it is now possible to search by Location, Building, Floor and Capacity.
  • For MS TEAMS meetings new easy to find and use buttons have been added to easily join a TEAMS meeting.

ONTIME ADMIN UI

  • A new check for correct domain including permissions in Azure has been added for setup for oath and teams
  • The Admin UI has been redesigned, realigned, and generally received a makeover to make it easier to use and understand.
  • The configuration for OAuth Authentication and MS TEAMS has been merged for clarity.
  • The Tomcat Heap Memory is now configurable for Initial Memory Poll and Maximum Memory Pool. The settings provided will be preserved during in an upgrade.

ONTIME BACKEND

  • Added an option so the user can choose to print only days that have calendar entries.
  • Fixed an issue where resolving the dynamic groups for the frontend used a less than optimal algorithm when there an organisation has a large number of groups was slow.
  • Upgraded Tomcat to latest version available (8.5.60)
  • Fixed an issue where resolving the dynamic groups for the frontend used a less than optimal algorithm. With larger number of groups this could result in a slower initial load than expected.

ONTIME INSTALL

  • When the administrator installs/upgrades OnTime and the tomcat memory settings have not yet been configured, then the memory will be configured automatically. By default the Initial Memory Poll will be 2 Gb and the Maximum Memory Pool of 4 Gb. If the server has more than 8Gb of RAM then the Initial Memory Poll will be 3 Gb and the Maximum Memory Pool of 6 Gb.
  • Tomcat Memory settings can be set by admin module. The Tomcat memory settings will be updated on the fly and will be remembered for the next upgrade in the folder "ProgramData" - in the file named "\Intravision\OnTimeGCMS\prepare-tomcat-memory-variables.cmd"

BUG FIXES

In addition to the specific bugs mentioned below, we have fixed some minor stability issues and other minor bugs.

ONTIME DESKTOP CLIENT

  • Clicking X to clear the search term in search did not respond after changing to search by a different criterion such as email or title.
  • Fixed an issue in List View where search by clicking the column headers was not active.
  • Fixed an issue where detaching an attached fille would change the name of the file.
  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to create a Microsoft Teams meeting when scheduling a meeting in another persons calendar.
  • Fixed an issue where the check for conflicts check was disabled were not included in invitations when using the Create button
  • Fixed an issue where the "All Day" event flag disappeared when saving an entry.
  • Notice panel is not updated after being in personal view on another person.
  • Print now uses the region format to determine first day of the week.
  • The Time-Off view erroneously included not only Time-Off events.

ONTIME BACKEND

  • Fixed an issue that would occur when adding a new user to an EWS group used in two domains was not working.
  • Fixed an issue where dynamic names were duplicated when the name was longer than 128 characters.
