IMPROVEMENTS

ONTIME DESKTOP CLIENT

  • When creating a mail message from OnTime the sender is now no longer included in the recipients
  • OnTime Desktop now has full support for Repeated meetings including Create / Edit / Delete / Accept and decline
  • The organiser can now see the responses from each invitee
  • Possible to control how many days of invitations not responded to that will be visible in the desktop. The setting is found under global settings in the admin client
  • Added URL Structure to open OnTime with predefined user(s), group or to edit an entry. An example of this is https://otms.ontimecalendar.com/ontimegcms/desktop?users=["This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.","This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it."] which will open OnTime and only show entries for the users This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. This can be used to call the OnTime interface from external sources as long as you know the mail addresses.
  • Configurable help link. This can be controlled from “User Default Settings” in the admin interface
  • The OnTime MS Teams add-in can now be used with the MS Teams desktop including if customers are using ADFS for single sign-on

ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT

  • Possible to control how many days of invitations not responded to that will be visible in the desktop. The setting is found under global settings in the admin client.
  • Search in the Admin client now supports wildcard searching
  • The Admin client has undergone a major overhaul. We have added dropdowns, validations and generally, the admin interface should significantly easier to work with
  • Support for OAuth authentication for Office 365 / Exchange Online. At this point in time, it is still possible to use basic authentication but in October 2020 Microsoft has announced that basic authentication will no longer be supported
  • The URL forwarder has been removed. The URL forwarder which essentially was a reverse proxy is no longer needed and therefore not included with OnTime
  • Configurable help link. This can be controlled from “User Default Settings” in the admin interface

ONTIME BACKEND

  • If the SQL server is unresponsive then OnTime will now, try to reconnect to the SQL
  • It is now possible to change a user's primary email in LDAP without losing access to OnTime
  • Added ability to create an API user from the Admin interface. This eliminates the process of logging in to Tomcat to request an OnTime token. The OnTime API User token is provided to the developer at the time of creating the API user. The expiry of the OnTime API User token is defined at the time of the creation of the Token and can be renewed manually.
  • New retention period for synchronised users before they are deleted (7 days)
  • Support for OAuth authentication for Office 365 / Exchange Online. At this point in time, it is still possible to use basic authentication but in October 2020 Microsoft has announced that basic authentication will no longer be supported

    • The Tomcat server uses ports 80/8080/443
      The ACS and Auth services uses ports 9080/9443
  • Prompt user for a backup path when installing to support a variety of infrastructures

ONTIME API

  • Added ability to create an API user from the Admin interface. This eliminates the process of logging in to Tomcat to request an OnTime token. The OnTime API User token is provided to the developer at the time of creating the API user. The expiry of the OnTime API User token is defined at the time of the creation of the Token and can be renewed manually.

LANGUAGES

  • Dutch is not included in this version but will be included in a version very soon

BUG FIXES

In addition to the specific bugs mentioned below, we have fixed some minor stability issues and other minor bugs

ONTIME DESKTOP CLIENT

  • Fixed a situation where renaming a room in Exchange would not be reflected in OnTime
  • Fixed an issue where after copying or moving an entry to another person the organizer information would not reflect the change
  • Fixed an issue where there was no scroll bar in the person selection menu in the single person view

ONTIME MOBILE CLIENT

  • Fixed a situation where renaming a room in Exchange would not be reflected in OnTime
  • Fixed an issue where redirect using https would redirect to http

ONTIME BACKEND

  • Fixed a situation where renaming a room in Exchange would not be reflected in OnTime
  • Fixed an issue where the use of certain special characters could result in a user's entries not being synchronised
