BUG FIXES

ONTIME DESKTOP

• Fixed an issue where the personal / single person view would only update after a manual refresh.
• When a single legend item was removed from the configuration this could result in all legend items failing

• Fixed an issue where it was possible to enable Oauth for on-prem domains in the configuration
  Fixed an issue where the database settings were cleared in the UI when saving a custom configuration

ONTIME BACKEND

• Fixed a situation where loading the Desktop UI could take several seconds to load for every user displayed if the users had many calendar entries.
• Fixed an issue where unused subscriptions used in synchronisation were not closed when not used anymore.
• It is now possible to use a proxy configuration for OAuth

• Fixed an issue in the single person view, where the notices tab was not updated when acting on behalf of another user

• Fixed an issue where scrolling in the Month and Day views under business card on an iOS device, the scrolling would accelerate to "warp" speed.
• Fixed an issue where the sync back time in a date picker was not read correctly and would not go beyond 7 days in the past.

ONTIME ADMIN CLIENT

• Fixed an issue where it was possible to select OAuth for an on-prem domain
• Fixed an issue where newly created domains would not appear in the domain list

IMPROVEMENTS

• Amongst many things, the “List View” and Export features will allow you to:
  • Easily access the “List View” through the top navigation bar Search for specific information across your organization
  • Configurate the time frame of your search Search within the calendars of specific people, teams and departments
  • Use keywords or legends to find only what is relevant to you
  • Access information about the booking of rooms and resources Export data to share it, save it, or print it

ONTIME FOR MS TEAMS

• When creating a new meeting invitation the user can now add an online meeting to the invitation
  • The online meeting can either be an MS TEAMS or Skype for Business meeting
  • The type of the meeting created is controlled by by the default settings for the user
  • This new feature is available in both the standard desktop and the desktop integrated in MS TEAMS
• When launching OnTime from the tab in a team in MS TEAMS using a mobile device, the users will now be directed to the OnTime Mobile UI with the team members selected, instead of opening the standard desktop UI.

ONTIME WEB MOBILE

• OnTime Mobile now support URL parameters like group or list of people like the desktop

ONTIME ADMIN UI

• Added option to choose the type of online meeting from default settings for a user. Options are MS TEAMS or Skype for Business
• Improved license warning functionality when less than a specified number of unused licenses are available for a perpetual license
• Improved subscription warning functionality when there are less than a specified number of days left of a subscription period
• Improved trial warning functionality when there are less than a specified number of days left of a trial period

ONTIME BACKEND

• Upgraded TOMCAT version to 8.5.54
• Java version has been upgraded to JAVA 14
• The default for new OnTime Group installations is now Microsoft SQL Express 2019
• Made several improvements to increase MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) of the backend
• The logging has been improved to include an actual log for administrators. The logging for developers is still included and much more granular than the log for the administrators of OnTime
• The speed of the photo synchronisation is now running multithreaded which results in significant speed improvement

• Added option to "Copy to Poll" from an existing meeting and include the meeting attendees as poll participants for the new poll.
• More info available on shared groups to see owners of the groups, even though you are not part of the owner list.
• Print in the Desktop. This feature is new and allows the user to print to PDF. The PDF can then either be mailed or physically printed. The user can choose between different print formats and whether to print day by day or week by week.
• It is now possible to use private contacts for invitations and polls
• Legend colour shows the correct value right after event creation and not just after a refresh of the desktop client.

ONTIME WEB MOBILE

• When opening OnTime Mobile for the first time, you will be greeted by an interface that allows you to easily add people to ‘My Team’.
• You can now edit the people in ‘My Team’ by clicking on the pencil in the group menu.
• Customize the number of days you wish to see in portrait and landscape mode. This setting is specific to each of your devices, allowing you the best possible overview on both tablet and phone.
• The ‘Add New Entry’-button has been moved to the bottom right corner of the screen for easy access.
• You can now customize whether you want your OnTime Mobile to start up in ‘My Team’ or in the group you used last. 
• The interface now shows "Offline" if no data connections is available.
• Events with Show As status set to "Free" will now show grey legend like in the desktop client.
• Added separate selection of authentication method for the Mobile add-on from the admin client.

ONTIME POLLARITY

• Polls now automatically record all activity in a poll such as e.g. creation/user votes/new time slot added
• Members of a poll can now comment/chat inside the Poll and thereby enrich the dialogue around the poll. This includes an option for sending a private message directly to the poll owner.
• Polls are now archived once they have resulted in an invitation. Archived polls will stay in the archive for the number of days defined in global settings
• When selecting to delete a poll it is now possible to select whether the poll should be archived or permanently deleted
• Added option to copy an existing Poll to a new poll
• Polling on behalf of someone else. From the single person view, it is now possible to create a poll on behalf of someone else.
• The email addresses of Poll participants are no longer displayed in the external voting interfaces on desktop and mobile.
• It is now possible to add or remove time slots for a poll. If a new timeslot is added all participants will be requested by mail to vote again.
• The desktop interface for the poll owner has been redesigned to make the use of timezones more intuitive when creating and maintaining a poll
• The External Desktop voting interface now supports that users can switch timezone for a clearer understanding of options
• The External Mobile voting interface now supports that users can switch timezone for a clearer understanding of options
• It is now possible to change the subject of an existing / already saved poll
• It is now possible to use private contacts for invitations and polls
• Creating a poll is much faster than in previous versions.

• Fixed issue with repeated meetings spanning daylight saving time
• Fixed issue with enforce https in IE11. The issue would cause the desktop client not to load.

• Fixed an issue where private groups were not sorted correctly when using manual sort mode.

ONTIME BACKEND

• Fixed issue to allow the "Author" role to work again. Introducing the Roles system in the latest release introduced a bug that we did not support the possibility to use the "Author" role from outlook, which allow users to only edit events on other users that they created themselves.

• It is now possible to use empty lines in the name format, without them being overwritten with default values in the desktop client

• Fixes Tomcat vulnerability https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2020-1938 regarding opened AJP ports reported Feb 24th. Since OnTimeGC does not depend on AJP port users may fix the vulnarebility without upgrading to the newest version. In order to do that

- Open file OnTimeGCMS/tomcat/conf/server.xml
- Find the following line<Connector port="8009" protocol="AJP/1.3" redirectPort="8443" />
- Remove it and restart Tomcat

• OnTime Catering for Microsoft is now finally released. The OnTime Catering module is the organisation's one-stop shop for managing catering within the organisation. • Fixed an issue where multiple changes to the same mail account did not get properly processed. If a process was already active the subsequent requests were ignored and only processed when a new synchronisation process occurred.

• Deletions now happen simultaneously in Exchange and OnTime. Much faster response in the UI for the OnTime user.

• Test results from customer environments have shown that increasing memory pool settings for the Apache Tomcat improves overall performance. The initial memory pool has been raised from 128MB to 1.024 and Maximum Memory Pool has been increased from 256MB to 2.048MB

• Fixed an issue where an error was thrown if switching to really large groups (+2.000 members).
• Creating a new group, choosing manual sorting, adding people, sorting them around and then removing one, would sort the users alphabetically.
• Fixed an issue where days available in the date picker depended on time zones and therefore would change in the middle of a day.
• Fixed an issue where view scroll was not updated when adding additional users to a selection based on "Show Selected".

• Fixed an issue where when a directory group was added to OnTime and then a member was added to the group in the LDAP server, then the member was added to OnTime but was not added to the directory group in OnTime.

• Fixed an issue which could occur if the values for auto-discovery or max entries were set to values not supported by Exchange. These settings can no longer be managed from the OnTime Admin UI and are therefore now controlled by default.

• The setting for "Show Directory Groups in Clients" was not copied when upgrading 
• Fixed an issue where overnight processes running in parallel could result in permissions not being delegated. This would result in users only being able to see availability (busy) 

IMPROVEMENTS

ONTIME DESKTOP CLIENT

• Delegating Access Using OnTime Roles. This version introduces the ability to delegate access using OnTime Roles. With OnTime Roles you can centralise the delegation of roles to the administration; meanwhile, users will still be able to grant personal access to specific people or departments. Roles add to rights already delegated to the user by other users, i.e. the rights are accumulative.
• To support the new role system, we have introduced a new type of groups "Linked AD Groups". These groups are a way of pointing to an AD group, where the group name was not previously added to the system. The members of the Linked group in OnTime will only be those members of the AD group that have already been added to the system by a domain profile. The new Linked Groups can also be made available to users in the UI, and they are not restricted to only being used with the Role system.
• Work with Formatted Text, Images, and Files – Directly from the OnTime Interface. We have added a new HTML editor which lets the user edit the description/body field of an entry. In previous versions of OnTime, it has been possible to include an unformatted text description at the time of the creation of the entry. In 6.1 it is now possible to create a rich text, formatted version of the description field. The field can include images and files can be attached.
• Private groups are now sharable, which means that for any new or existing private group you can choose to share it. If you share the private group, you can choose who can use the group (Shared with) and who can maintain the group (owners).
• Accept/Decline Meetings from the OnTime UI. OnTime introduces the possibility of responding to invitations directly from OnTime. Additionally, this feature lets secretaries manage meeting invitations on behalf of others through the Single Person View mode.
• Edit accepted subject/location of invitations (meetings)
• In 2018 Oracle announced that they would not post further updates of Java SE 8 to its public download sites for commercial use after January 2019 unless customers had a commercial support contract. To stay current and avoid further licensing costs for our OnTime customers, we have upgraded the Java version to Java 11 and further, we make use of the Open JDK which is free to use.
• OnTime now supports both LDAP and LDAPS. The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is used to read from and write to Active Directory and is by default transmitted unsecured. You can make LDAP traffic confidential and secure by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) / Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology. The secure transport is now supported in OnTime.  With version 3.0.0 we have integrated the full OnTime Group Calendar into MS Teams, and created some special MS Teams related features in the calendar, which are:

•  When you open the Group Calendar tab in MS Teams it will always give you an up to date view of the members of the team, meaning that the Group Calendar is automatically updated if someone leaves or joins the team.
• The "This Team" button will allow you to always return to just seeing the people who are in the team you are accessing OnTime through, this is useful since you can navigate around in your own and the organisational groups from MS Teams.
• The "Team meeting" button will create a meeting invite with everyone from the team as required invitees on the first available time slot, which you can then edit the details of and use the "Find Free Time" button to get a list of other possible time slots.

OnTime in MS Teams is an addition to the core product allowing all OnTime users to add this to their everyday group calendar experience at no extra cost.
