Group Calendar - ver 4.0.1

This version includes several fixes to improve the application across all clients.

Improvements and New Features

OnTime Notes Client

  • Repeating Meetings / appointments / all day events
    • Support for create
    • Support for edit
    • Support for delete
  • Standalone Room / Resource reservation, single instance or repeated. These reservations are not associated with a meeting
  • Support for multiple legend sets
  • Start up in favourite groups panel to improve initial load speed
  • Instant Client Refresh (ICR). Auto updates scheduler and notices for the user when an event occurs in the personal calendar in the background
  • Changed memory model so that newly created entries stays on screen with correct legend

This version includes several fixes to improve the application across all clients.

Improvements and New Features

OnTime Notes Client

  • Performance Improvements:
    • Improved response time by implementing support for servlet. Using servlet will especially be of interest for environments with large user populations. The servlet will cache user lists that are used in viewer, dialogue boxes and searches
    • Improved load experience by implementing staged loading of the client
    • Support for HTTP as protocol
  • Token login (one time token for HTTP) instead of using documents in Client database
  • Create Meetings, Appointments and All Day events based on existing entries. (Shift+drag)
  • Support for Information Update Notice to invitees, if they are removed from a meeting

OnTime TAAG Client

  • Performance Improvements:
    • Improved response time by implementing support for GC Servlet. Using GC Servlet will especially be of interest for environments with large user populations. The GC Servlet will cache user lists that are used in viewer, dialogue boxes and searches
  • Support for Information Update Notice to invitees, if they are removed from a meeting

OnTime Web Client

GC Configuration

  • New Servlet: OnTimeGC.jar
  • New configuration setting for GC Servlet. Available on Server document
  • Update to Install/Update button to include GC Servlet (Domino Servlet). Server setting view
  • New option to allow for additional OnTime Group Calendar installations. Users being members of additional in-stallation will not have their mail files updated with the API endpoint, thus enabling user to be members of multi-ple OnTime Group Calendar installations. Configuration for this option is found on the server document and is only available with the role [Developer]
  • New Client database, joining Web and API databases. Automatically generates when upgrading. Configuration section found in Server Setting Document
  • New Config setting to control web theme. Found in Application default setting document

GCTask

  • Now handles situations where the Mail file being synchronised or the Configuration database suddently be-comes unavailable e.g. in a compact situation.

Group Calendar - ver 3.10.0

OnTime Group Calendar 3.10.0 includes a total of more than 100 new features and bug fixes and a number and design changes. Please, view major changes below.

New Features

OnTime Web Client

  • Expose settings for Show/Hide weekends in the UI
  • Expose settings for Row height selection in the UI
  • Login for HTTP that eliminates the need for user documents in the web database. This will allow the use of a load balancer for Web, Social and Mobile

OnTime Notes Client

  • Expose settings for Show/Hide weekends in the UI
  • Expose settings for Row height selection in the UI
  • Major rewrite of the Appointment dialog box
  • Display “created by” on Entries, when entry is created in another user’s calendar
  • Display “created by” on Room and Resource Entries
  • Previously users in OnTime have been resolved in Sametime using the email address configured in OnTime. For customers requiring the use of UID (ShortName), to resolve users in IBM Sametime, we have added an application setting (Sametime WatchItem) to control this behavior.
